   Hi
   I am contacting your organization in an effort to extend myself to any voluntary work you can utilize. I will be going to the Philippines on April 19th – May 8th 2010. I have been very active here in NYC and have been recognized as the first openly gay cop ever to receive the NYPD’s highest medal for an incident which occurred while I was at work. I will be going to the Philippines for a 3 week vacation but I also wanted to meet people for the LGBT community while I am there. Im not sure if I am contacting the right person but if I am not can you please point me to the right direction. Thanks for your time

   This is Bruce Amoroto, founding President of Philippine Forum on Sports, Culture, Sexuality and Human Rights (TEAM PILIPINAS). Apologies for the late reply but thank you very much for contacting us. I should also take time to thank you for responding to the ‘I AM NOT IMMORAL!’ video. While TEAM PILIPINAS currently has no project during the time you will be here in the Philippines, I would be more than happy to meet you and discuss some of the plans of the organization. If you are involved in a gay or LGBT organization in New York, it might be worthwhile to explore doing a collaborative project.
